The privacy of your data matters. This policy explains what personal data I collect through the website antonescu.is-a.dev, for what purposes, on what legal basis, with whom I share it and what rights you have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Romanian law.

1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

2.1. Data you provide directly (contact form)

  • Name – so I know who I am addressing;
  • E-mail address – so I can reply to you;
  • Message content – the information you choose to share.

2.2. Data collected automatically

  • Technical data – IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, generated at server level by the hosting provider, for the operation and security of the Website;
  • Analytics data – collected only with your consent through the analytics tool (Litlyx), to understand how the Website is used. Without consent, this tool is not loaded.

I do not collect special categories of data (sensitive data) and I ask you not to send such information through the contact form.

3. Purposes of processing

  • to respond to requests sent through the contact form;
  • to discuss and, possibly, start a collaboration;
  • for the operation, security and maintenance of the Website;
  • to analyze traffic and improve the Website (only with consent);
  • to comply with legal obligations, where applicable.

4. Legal basis (Art. 6 GDPR)

  • Your consent [Art. 6(1)(a)] – for sending the message through the form and for analytics cookies;
  • Pre-contractual measures / performance of a contract [(b)] – when you contact me regarding a collaboration;
  • Legitimate interest [(f)] – for the security of the Website and preventing abuse;
  • Legal obligation [(c)] – when the law requires retaining or disclosing certain data.

5. Retention period

I keep data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected: contact messages, for the duration of the correspondence and any collaboration, then for a reasonable record-keeping period; analytics data, in line with the settings of the tool used; technical log data, for short periods set by the infrastructure providers. Once these periods expire, the data is deleted or anonymized.

6. Recipients and processors

I do not sell or rent your data. I may share it with service providers who help me operate the Website, acting as processors, including:

  • Vercel Inc. – hosting and delivery of the Website;
  • Resend – sending the e-mails generated by the contact form;
  • Litlyx – traffic analytics (only if you accepted analytics cookies).

Data may be disclosed to public authorities where the law requires it.

7. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the USA). In such cases, the transfer is carried out with appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other legal mechanisms provided by the GDPR.

8. Your rights

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

  • the right of access to your data;
  • the right to rectification of inaccurate data;
  • the right to erasure („the right to be forgotten");
  • the right to restriction of processing;
  • the right to data portability;
  • the right to object to processing;
  • the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing;
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

9. Supervisory authority

If you believe your data is not being processed correctly, you may contact the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) – www.dataprotection.ro.

10. Data security

I apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss or disclosure (secure HTTPS connections, limited access, trusted providers). However, no system is 100% secure, and transmitting data over the internet is done at your own risk.

11. Cookies

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies, described in detail in the Cookie Policy. Analytics cookies are enabled only with your consent, expressed through the consent banner.

12. Minors

The Website is not intended for persons under 16 and I do not knowingly collect data from minors. If a minor has sent me data, it will be deleted upon notice.

This policy may be updated periodically. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
